Environmental Policy and Scope of Application

Basic Philosophy

KDK recognizes that preserving the global environment is one of the most important issues common to all humankind, and acts in consideration of its impact in all its business activities.

Policy

Through our business activities centered on the maintenance and manufacture of electronic equipment, we aim to harmonize with the local and global environment by conducting environmental preservation activities based on the following policy.

1. 1. We recognize the environmental impact of our activities and maintenance/manufacturing processes, and establish environmental goals and an environmental management system within the technical and economic feasibility. All employees work together to continuously improve environmental conservation activities and review them as necessary.
2. We comply with environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and other requirements to which we agree, and work to prevent environmental pollution.
3. In our business activities, we focus on the following activities that can contribute to climate change mitigation and sustainable resource use.
   1). Reduction of resource and energy consumption
   2). Reduce and strengthen management of environmentally hazardous substances used in maintenance and manufacturing processes
   3). Reduce waste and promote recycling
4. To deepen understanding of our environmental policy and enhance environmental awareness, we provide all employees with regular environmental education and visual communication tools such as posters. We also publicly share our environmental policy to encourage understanding and collaboration from external stakeholders.
5. To help preserve biodiversity, we participate in community activities such as planting flowers and organized clean-up efforts.
